Biochemist

What a Biochemist does

· Design, execute, and troubleshoot complex biological experiments involving protein purification, enzyme kinetics, DNA/RNA extraction, and gene expression analysis. · Operate and maintain advanced molecular instrumentation, including PCR thermal cyclers, flow cytometers, mass spectrometers, HPLC, and electrophoresis systems. · Conduct cell culture assays, recombinant DNA cloning, Western blotting, and ELISA tests to evaluate cellular responses and therapeutic candidates. · Analyze massive genomic, proteomic, and metabolomic datasets using bioinformatics software and statistical tools to identify biological patterns. · Author peer-reviewed scientific papers for international journals, present research findings at conferences, and write grant proposals for funding
